At WorkForge, our mission is to equip food manufacturers with the tools and training their people need to succeed. We don’t create content in a vacuum—we listen carefully to the challenges raised by our customers and the industry and build solutions that address them directly. As workforce dynamics, regulatory environments, and employee concerns shift, so do the needs of the companies we serve.
One of the most recent challenges we’ve heard is how to prepare teams for an unexpected ICE raid or visit. These events are disruptive, can cause fear across the workforce, and carry real risks for both employees and employers.
Companies want to know: do their people know what to do—or not do? Will supervisors understand the difference between warrants that allow ICE access and those that don’t? Above all, can employees and managers respond calmly, legally, and safely?
To meet this need, WorkForge has released two new training modules—available in English and Spanish—focused on “Responding to ICE Raids or Visits in the Workplace.” These courses were created in consultation with HR, legal experts, and subject matter specialists in labor and immigration law to ensure alignment with current policies and best practices
These modules are designed to provide clarity, confidence, and consistency across the workforce. Key benefits include:
The training is divided into two modules because frontline employees and supervisors face different responsibilities during an unexpected ICE raid or visit.
The General Employee module helps workers understand why ICE might visit, what to do if agents arrive, where they have access, and what rights employees have.
The Supervisor & Manager module goes deeper, covering immediate safety steps, how to assess warrants, and how to protect employee rights while ensuring privacy and non-retaliation
An unexpected ICE raid or visit is unpredictable. The uncertainty alone can cause disruption that ripples across an organization. By preparing employees and supervisors with clear, role-specific guidance, companies can ensure their people respond in a way that is calm, compliant, and safe.
We remain committed to listening, adapting, and building solutions that empower the food manufacturing workforce to face today’s challenges with confidence.
